Who is behind this

Ars Humana is a small team that believes a thing made by a person is worth telling apart from a thing generated by a machine, and that the person should be able to say so, in public, with their name on it.

What we commit to

  • We never take a declaration back.

    Declarations are permanent — cancelling never revokes one. The only exception is fraud, and we say so in the Terms.

  • We don't claim to detect AI.

    A declaration is your word. We don't run a detector on your work and we don't pretend one would settle anything.

  • When we review, a person reviews.

    Ars Humana review, when it opens, is someone on our team reading the record of a work and speaking with you where it matters. Not a score from a model.

  • We say what is built.

    If a feature isn't live, the site says so. The FAQ is kept honest about what exists today.
