Ars Humana reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
Account Responsibilities
When creating and maintaining an account with Ars Humana:
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account
- You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accounts may not be shared between multiple individuals or entities
Important Note:
Misrepresentation of account information, particularly regarding creator identity or work authorship, may result in immediate termination of your account and revocation of any certifications.
Certification Process & Standards
Our certification process involves:
Submission
You submit your creative work along with required documentation
Review
Our team analyzes the work using our verification methodology
Verification
We apply technical and expert analysis to confirm human authorship
Certification
Upon successful verification, a certificate and digital badge is issued
We maintain strict standards in our certification process. Works that cannot be verified as human-created will not receive certification. Our decisions regarding certification are final, though you may request a review if you believe an error has occurred.
Intellectual Property Rights
With respect to intellectual property:
- You retain all ownership rights to your submitted creative works
- You grant Ars Humana a limited license to review, analyze, and store your work for certification purposes
- Certification by Ars Humana does not constitute copyright registration or legal protection
- The Ars Humana name, logo, and certification marks are our intellectual property and may only be used in accordance with our guidelines
By submitting work for certification, you represent and warrant that you own or have proper rights to the work, and that the work does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use Ars Humana services to:
Prohibited Content
Submit works containing illegal, offensive, harmful, or infringing content
Misrepresentation
Submit AI-generated or non-human created works claiming them to be human-created
System Interference
Attempt to interfere with, circumvent, or damage our certification systems or methodology
Violation of these policies may result in immediate termination of service, revocation of certifications, and potential legal action.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Ars Humana provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific certification in question
- We do not guarantee that our certification will be recognized by all third parties or platforms
While we strive for accuracy in our certification process, we cannot guarantee that our methods will detect all forms of non-human creation, particularly as AI technologies continue to evolve.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement:
You may delete your account and discontinue use of our services at any time
We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms
Upon termination, your certification rights may be revoked
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through:
- Email notifications to registered users
- Notices on our website
- Updates to the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
Your continued use of our services after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
